Чем вы займетесь
As the sun goes down in Centennial Park our adventure is just beginning! Grab a torch and join us for a walk at dusk, the most exciting time of day for wildlife watching. With a guide by your side you will get to explore this great park during sunset and into the dark, searching for Australia's weird and wonderful creatures. We know the habits, hiding places, and life stories of the park's wild residents, and as we walk through the park we'll take you to some of our favourite spots to view a huge variety of Australian animals including fruit bats (flying-foxes), cockatoos, possums, black swans, eels, spiders, and lots more! Sunset is the most magical time to be out in nature as you get to see the day shift animals hand over to the night shift, and enjoy being immersed in Australia's fabulous wildlife.
Centennial Park Tourguides
I'm Jal and have been working in science and the outdoors for my entire career and in Centennial Park for five years. I have also worked as a wildlife rescuer, specialising in the wonderful fruit bats we have in the park, possibly my favourite animal (if I had to pick just one!). If I am not around one of my amazing colleagues will host you. We all work as educators at the park where we aim to instil a love and understand of nature in all our visitors.
The Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust
The Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust is responsible for the one of the largest urban parks. Centennial Park was founded by Henry Parkes as the "People's Park" and people visit our parks for peace, relaxation, sport, and education. Entry is free but some special events are ticketed. We provide a range of community events, classes, tours and activities led by our expert Education Rangers.
Это благотворительный проект, все средства от которого будут направлены в организацию The Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust .
