I’m a licensed moxibustion healer and acupuncturist. Since discovering these medicinal practices, I’ve been a firm believer in the power of natural, drug-free remedies. I’ve lived all over the world, from England to Malaysia to Syria. My husband and I are proud hosts and love to share these ancient therapies with new people.

Moxibustion—also known as “kyu” in Japan—is a type of heat therapy intended to boost health by improving the body’s energy flow. Practitioners use burned herbs (moxa) on certain points of the body to stimulate natural health. In this seminar, we’ll discuss the benefits of heat stimulation and learn how to locate meridian points on our own bodies. We’ll then use wormwood moxa and learn how to…

Yomogi Mochi I’ll provide yomogi mochi, a popular Japanese wormwood rice cake which contains no food coloring.

Moxa We will use a round-base applicator for easy use, which you can take home after the session.

Где вы побываете

The class will take place at my home clinic in Otsuka, within walking distance of Ikebukuro. I can meet you at JR Otsuka Station or Shin-Otsuka Station. Otsuka is also accessible by tram, one of the city’s only remaining two tramlines.
