This is a practical course aimed at the home barista and coffee enthusiast entering practical Espresso making, manual coffee brewing skills . What you will learn No prior experience required, we can assist you in tuning in your espresso brewing skills. The course will be adapted to your individual experience level. This is a practical course, looking at the process of preparing a good espresso. This includes calibrating your grinder, grinding coffee and using the espresso machine correctly. The espresso brewing is followed by milk texturing. And we will introduce you to care and cleaning of your barista equipment. And also we will provide a demonstration and insight on how you make the perfect brew with an Aeropress , V60 and Chemex comparing their effect on coffee flavour with a comparison tasting and we will provide tips and tricks to get you making an enviable brew at home. You will then have a go at brewing — this session is practical and fun and will you have you making barista quality coffee at home in no time. We will end the day with a slice of homemade tiramisu and yummy snacks.. Hi this is Kaan, I started to discover coffee in 2011 with great curiosity. In Toronto, where I went for post graduate studies, I saw that coffee was beyond my perception. Especially Espresso that I made a habit out of researching and stayed aware of also brewing methods. I let what i discover inspire and motivate me. The flavour of coffee excites me and discovering coffees that have a variety of flavours keeps me constantly researching and discovering. Then, I got my grinder and my own brewing equipment. I have tried espresso in every coffee shop i went. And then ‘’Espresso’’ became my passion and i fuel this passion constantly. In 2014, I studied SCA Barista Foundation at Istanbul Coffee Academy. Then I went back to Toronto in 2016 just to learn espresso and worked as a professional barista for 1,5 years at B Espresso Bar.
