A mindfulness journey through the senses Join us for a 3-hour introduction to Mindfulness through the senses in central Oxford. The experience is curated by leading Mindfulness expert Sophie Maclaren, and Hilden Allgaier who is a designer of social impact experiences and impact careers. You will be taken on a journey to explore how simple changes in your everyday life can help you to be more present and connected. Sophie will guide the group through a series of gentle meditation and breathing exercises that will support your overall wellbeing and productivity. This experiences include: - 3 hour introduction to Mindfulness at Estia, Oxford’s eco-luxury wellness space. - Neurophysiology of mindfulness - Booklet for daily wellbeing practices - Vegan cake and tea by local baker Cosmic Cakes - Aromatherapy with essential oils by Oxford based organic luxury brand La Eva - Guided meditation - 10 minute massage - Sound installation Come along to learn more and mingle with mindful individuals and have fun! You will be impressed, surprised, rejuvenated, and mindful.

I'm interested in human flourishing and work with people and teams to live and work at their best, supported by evidence-based lifestyle practices. I lead mindfulness and leadership courses at Oxford University, and am the founder of Estia Wellspace, Oxford's first total wellbeing studio. I have been practicing mindfulness and mindful arts since childhood and teaching for over 15 years in Europe, North America, Latin America, and Australia. I specialise in mindfulness practices and techniques which are practical, effective, and science-based. My clients include leading universities, law firms, private banks, and individuals committed to wellbeing-driven performance.
